Every quarter, Trusted Wills will be supporting a local charity, and we are delighted to announce that our ‘Charity of the Winter’ is ………TimeNorfolk!
TimeNorfolk is an amazing charity that provides free confidential help and support to anyone:
- Who has experienced pregnancy loss through miscarriage, termination or stillbirth,
- With an unplanned pregnancy,
- Needing support through their pregnancy,
- Needing support for other pregnancy related issues e.g. infertility, pre or post-natal depression.
They provide support across Norfolk to women and their partners of all ages and they provide support when it’s needed!
The TimeNorfolk Norwich centre was opened in 1999 and quickly grew to cover the whole of Norfolk. They currently have three paid part-time staff and approximately thirty volunteers.
TimeNorfolk aims to:
- Support anyone in distress as a result of pregnancy, birth, pregnancy loss, termination and infertility.
- Support pregnant women and their partners to make an informed choice regarding their options: termination, adoption, or parenting, with referral to appropriate agencies.
It also recognises that men can be deeply affected by an unplanned pregnancy, miscarriage or termination and that for many women the involvement and support of their partner is vitally important, therefore TimeNorfolk ensure that their services are also available to men.
So why TimeNorfolk…………
For the first time Trusted Wills asked all of its clients and followers to nominate their favourite charity for us to support for our ‘Charity of the Winter’.
TimeNorfolk was nominated along with some other fantastic charities. After some research and discussions with the charities, we made the decision (such a difficult decision with so many charities!) to choose TimeNorfolk.
Take a look at this moving video which helps to demonstrate why TimeNorfolk is such a great charity:
Our support:
I have pledged to TimeNorfolk that for every new appointment made in December, January and February I will donate a minimum of £10 (increased depending on the service) to them.
This is not restricted to those who know about this offer – this is for every new client Trusted Wills gains during this period!
What you can do to help:
If you have ‘make a Will’ on your to-do list, why not make an appointment today and help a charity in the process? If you already have your Will and Estate Planning sorted, tell your family and friends who may still need to do theirs……
Or
Get involved with TimeNorfolk – they need volunteer practitioners, administrators and befrienders, financial support through donations, fundraising events and corporate sponsorship. If you are interested, here are some more details: https://timenorfolk.org.uk/get-involved/
Our service:
I offer appointments in the comfort of your own home and at a time to suit you, including evenings and weekends. It is a process that can be dealt with relatively quickly, and it can save you hours of stress trying to figure out what is needed.
Most importantly it will provide you with the peace of mind, knowing that you have a valid Will in place, that won’t fail you or your family during their time of grieving.
